American sprinter Noah Lyles clinched the bronze medal in the 200m final at the Paris Olympics, despite testing positive for Covid-19. Lyles, who had been aiming for a 100m-200m double, announced his diagnosis, stating it would likely mark the end of his 2024 Olympic run. After the race, he was taken off the track in a wheelchair and praised his performance.
